Bambu Lab to aid local 3D print farms with Farm Manager launch

Bambu Lab has officially launched Bambu Farm Manager, a robust new tool for managing large fleets of 3D printers, with no need to rely on the cloud. Tailored for businesses, schools, and makers alike, Farm Manager provides full local network control for supported Bambu printers with a safe and scalable solution for serious print operations.

Following a successful beta that began in 2024, the tool was soft-launched this May, and now supports P1, A1, and X1C printers. Compatibility with the X1E and H2D models is expected later this year.

Bambu Farm Manager is designed with privacy, efficiency, and ease of use in mind. The tool includes real-time monitoring, batch control, smart job queuing, and power management features that all operate locally. “Farm Manager gives me and my clients full control over where their data goes, shared beta tester Korneel. “It’s also made managing the printer fleet a breeze, substantially driving down operational costs.

The system consists of two parts: a background server that manages communication, and a client interface for live control and monitoring. There’s no limit to how many printers you can connect, it all depends on the capacities of your PC and network.

Farm Manager is now available as a free download for Windows 10 and up. Future advanced features are currently in the works, and the Bambu Lab team emphasizes that the current platform will remain free, aiming to offer robust tools without compromising accessibility.
