Stratasys to launch iAM Marketplace, a new hub for 3D manufacturing

Stratasys has announced the launch of iAM Marketplace™ at the upcoming Formnext 2025. This new independent platform aims to simplify the process of accessing polymer additive manufacturing (AM) materials and solutions for manufacturers. iAM Marketplace™ is presented as a hardware-agnostic platform, designed to serve not only Stratasys users, but the entire polymer 3D printing ecosystem, expanding the company’s materials strategy.

Backed by Stratasys but operating as a standalone marketplace, iAM Marketplace will bring together the materials portfolios and technical expertise of iSQUARED, Forward AM, and assets from Nexa3D. According to a statement from Stratasys, this approach offers “the polymer additive manufacturing industry’s widest selection of high-quality materials, engineering services, and products” in a single place. The platform is tasked with a mission to streamline sourcing, cut lead times, and support more resilient supply chains.

The launch of iAM Marketplace is a bold step forward in our materials strategy,” Yoav Zeif, CEO of Stratasys, said in a press release. “It expands our total addressable market and positions us to serve the entire additive manufacturing industry. It gives manufacturers access to exactly what they need from a reliable partner, whether they’re focused on cost, performance, or use-case-specific solutions.

Stratasys will continue to provide its systems with its own engineered and certified materials, but iAM Marketplace adds a more open layer of choice. This dual approach is a great opportunity for manufacturers to match application requirements, from routine prototypes to demanding industrial parts, and not to be limited to a single ecosystem.

The official Formnext launch of iAM Marketplace will take place on November 18 at 2:00 PM (CET) at Hall 11.1, Booth C11, where you will find Zeif and the Marketplace team presenting the new platform and answering questions from the AM community.
