UltiMaker released the UltiMaker S6, a high-speed, high-performance 3D printer tailored for engineers, educators, and manufacturers seeking precision and flexibility without breaking the bank.
Developed for use across defense, education, and manufacturing, the S6 boasts print speeds of up to 500 mm/s and 50,000 mm/s², which is up to four times faster than its predecessor – thanks to the new UltiMaker Cheetah motion planner. Dual extrusion, a streamlined single material station, and two interchangeable build plates (flexible and glass) boost efficiency across a wide range of applications, including hygienic medical and food packaging prints.
Fully backward compatible with the popular UltiMaker S5, the S6 allows seamless integration with existing hardware, print cores, and sliced files, reducing onboarding time and maximizing ROI. It is also the first UltiMaker printer to include a 24-month warranty (regional variations apply).
