Quantica and Meteor Inkjet Join collaborate to push the limits of 3D printing with NovoJet™

Quantica, a Berlin-based provider of high-viscosity materials for additive manufacturing, has announced that it will integrate Meteor Inkjet’s drive electronics into its groundbreaking NovoJet™ printhead technology.

Quantica’s NovoJet system is designed to jet materials that were previously considered unjettable – impossible to print digitally – from ultra-thick adhesives and advanced coatings to inks containing microscopic particles. Traditional printheads tend to be able to handle only low-viscosity liquids, but the NovoJet™ printhead, powered by Meteor electronics, transforms the approach.

Meteor is proud to be working alongside Quantica to help bring their groundbreaking NovoJet™ printhead technology to market,” Clive Ayling, Managing Director of Meteor Inkjet, said in a press release. “Additive manufacturing is rapidly evolving, and the ability to jet a wider range of functional materials opens up enormous opportunities for innovation.

The partnership combines Quantica’s materials expertise with Meteor’s trusted electronics and software, building a robust foundation for the next-gen digital manufacturing systems. The first product to emerge from the partnership will be Quantica’s Print Engine, a production-ready solution for industrial integration expected in 2026.
According to Quantica, this new engine “pushes digital printing beyond traditional low-viscosity materials,” extending the boundaries of industrial production far beyond graphics into areas such as functional components, coatings, and electronics. As Quantica puts it, the goal is clear: to digitize the undigitizable and revolutionize industrial 3D printing.
